English in sawizauna tlem nei lawk ila:
Paper Cutting and Folding questions require candidates to visualize the transformation of a piece of paper through two main stages: folding and unfolding.
1. The Folding Process (Input): A square or rectangular sheet of paper is folded multiple times along imaginary or dotted lines.
2. The Cutting/Punching Process (Process): A design (cut or hole) is made in the final folded shape.
3. The Unfolding Process (Output): You must determine the final pattern on the original paper when it is completely unfolded.
The Fundamental Rule: Principle of Mirror Image
The entire process of unfolding is based on the Principle of Mirror Image. When you unfold the paper, the fold line acts as a mirror, and the cuts/punches made on the folded part are reflected onto the adjacent, now-unfolded, section.
🎯Hriat tur: Lehkhapuan hi dinglam atanga veilam emaw, veilam atanga dinglam emaw, chunglam atanga hnuailam emaw, a letling zawnga i thleh a nih chuan darthlalang (mirror image) emaw tui chunga thla lo lang (water image) ang chiahin a lo lang ang.
🎯🟩 Examples of different types of paper folding and cutting:
Q1.The sequence of folding a piece of paper and the manner in which the folded paper has been cut is shown in the following figures. How would this paper look when unfolded?
Q2.The sequence of folding a piece of paper and the manner in which the folded paper is cut is shown in the following figures. How would this paper look when unfolded?
Q3.A piece of paper is folded and punched as shown below in the question figures. Indicate how it will appear when opened?
Example 4: There is a set of three figures X, Y, and Z, showing a sequence of folding of a piece of paper. Figure (2) shows the way the folded paper has been cut. Choose the figure that would most closely resemble the unfolded form of paper.
🤔🎯A thleh dan leh a zai dan (Steps):

🗣️Figure Y: Thleh sa tawh chu a ding lam atangin a vei lamah thleh leh a ni.
🕵️Figure Z: He thleh tawpnaah hian zai (cut) pahnih siam a ni:A vei lam (thlehna tlang/fold line)-ah triangle zai a ni a.A ding lam (pawn tlang/open edge)-ah square zai a ni.A phelh leh huna a lan dan tur:
Step 1: Figure Y kan phelh leh hmasak berin, a vei lama triangle cut awm kha a thlehna lai (fold line) a nih avangin, a phelh hnuah chuan laili (center)-ah triangle pakhat a lo awm dawn a ni.
Step 2: A ding lama square cut awm kha chu a pawn tlang a nih avangin, a phelh hnuah a ding lam leh a vei lamah square pakhat ve ve a lo awm thung ang.
Step 3: Figure X (a chunga thleh thlak kha) kan phelh leh hnuah pawh heng zai (cuts) te hi a hnuai lama awm an nih avangin an danglam chuang lo ang.
Chuvangin, a tawpa a phelh rual chuan laili-ah triangle pakhat leh a sir lam-ah square pakhat ve ve a awm dawn a, chu chu Option (B)-ah hian a lang chiang ber a ni.
Example 5: A transparent sheet of paper with markings is folded as shown in the question image. Which image would represent the sheet after the fold?
📄🗣️Practice Questions :
🎯 Each of the following questions consists of a set of three figures X, Y and Z showing a sequence of folding of apiece of paper. Figure (Z) shows the manner in which the folded paper has been cut. These three figures are followed by four answer figures from which you have to choose a figure which would most closely resemble the unfolded form of figure (Z).
1.Choose a figure which would most closely resemble the unfolded form of Figure (Z).
2.Choose a figure which would most closely resemble the unfolded form of Figure (Z).
4.Choose a figure which would most closely resemble the unfolded form of Figure (Z).
5.Choose a figure which would most closely resemble the unfolded form of Figure (Z).
A.1
B.2
C.3
D.4
6.Choose a figure which would most closely resemble the unfolded form of Figure (Z).
7.Choose a figure which would most closely resemble the unfolded form of Figure (Z)
10.Choose a figure which would most closely resemble the unfolded form of Figure (Z).
